If you’re on Claro Prepaid and want to help a friend (or yourself on another device), here’s what you need to do:
- Dial *222# and choose option 2: Pasa Saldo
- Enter the Claro mobile number you want to send credit to, plus the amount in soles (no decimals!)
- Confirm you’re the account holder by entering your DNI or Foreigner ID
- Confirm one last time and boom — done!
Heads up:
- The service costs S/ 0.25
- You can send between S/ 3 and S/ 20 per day
- Transferred credit is valid for 30 days
- TFI, Control or corporate lines can’t use this service

How to transfer credit to another phone in Peru with Entel
Are you an Entel Prepaid customer? Then you can transfer credit like this:
- Dial 103
- Choose option 1: Mobile Telephony
- Then pick option 5: Balance Transfer
- Enter the recipient Entel number
- Enter the amount
- Confirm… and that’s it!
Important info:
- Your line must be active for at least 90 days
- You can only send or receive 2 transfers every 24 hours
- Monthly max: $10,000
- Shared credit lasts up to 90 days
- The service costs $0.50
What if I’m on Bitel?
Bitel no longer allows balance transfers, buuuut… you can share your data if you’re on the Unlimited 49.90 plan or higher. That way your friends stay connected without hassle.
How to do it:
Send an SMS with the following format:
AGREGAR [friend’s number] [GB you want to share] to 164
Example: AGREGAR 999999999 30GB

Does Movistar still let you transfer credit?
Yup, although it’s a bit hidden in the menu. Here’s the step-by-step:
- Dial *515# and press call
- From the menu, select: Other Services > Rescátame Movistar > Share Your Credit
- Enter the number and amount (between S/ 1 and S/ 10)
- Confirm and wait for the confirmation SMS
Note: This credit is for calls only and is instantly deducted from your balance.
