How to Pasaload for all Carriers in the Philippines: A Complete Guide

how to pasaload Philipines

Sharing airtime (or “load”) with someone in the Philippines is something many prepaid users do all the time — it’s called pasaload (or Share-a-Load) in local parlance. If you or someone you know needs to “pasaload” in the Philippines, this guide walks you through what’s possible (and what’s not) for each carrier. Plus, whenever direct pasaload is not available, we’ll show how doctorSIM can help you top up safely and quickly.

What is Pasaload / Share-a-Load?

“Pasaload” or “Share-a-Load” refers to transferring a portion of your prepaid balance (or promos) from your mobile account to another mobile user. Typically, the sender pays a small fee (often ₱1) in addition to the amount transferred. The recipient then can use the transferred load for calls, SMS, or data, depending on the network and promo rules.

How to Pasaload for Cherry Mobile

Heres’s how to do it: Simply text the 11-digit Cherry recipient number + space + the amount you want to share, and send it to 2172.

Also, take this into account:

  • Cherry Prepaid supports Share-a-Load internally (Cherry to Cherry only).
  • There’s no registration required but you must have sufficient load.
  • A transaction fee of ₱1 will be deducted from the sender’s account.
  • You cannot share promos (calls, data bundles) currently via Cherry’s pasaload — only regular load.

If you prefer, you can also use doctorSIM to top up a Cherry Mobile number.

How to Pasaload for DITO Telecommunity

Yes — DITO supports pasaload (load sharing) between DITO numbers.

How to do it:

  1. Open the DITO app and go to Share Load / Data.
  2. In the Load tab, enter the recipient’s 10-digit DITO mobile number or select from contacts.
  3. Enter the amount (minimum ₱5 up to ₱1,000) and get an OTP (one-time PIN).
  4. Enter OTP and share.

You can do it up to 5 times per day. DITO also supports data sharing / pasadata (minimum 50 MB) with validity up to 48 hours.

Need a faster way? Use doctorSIM’s DITO to load a DITO number instantly.

How to Pasaload for Globe (and TM)

Important update: Globe has discontinued its Share-a-Load / pasaload / share-a-promo services as of December 1, 2022.

  • Before discontinuation, Globe supported pasaload via USSD (*143#), text (2 + 10-digit number + amount), app, or PIN registration.
  • Now, for Globe and TM, direct pasaload is no longer offered.

If you want to top up a Globe or TM number now, your best bet is via an external service like doctorSIM (which also supports TM).

How to Pasaload for Smart / TNT / SmartBro

Smart, TNT (Talk ‘N Text), and SmartBro (their data brand) have active pasaload/share-a-load features.

How to pasaload via SMS (Smart / TNT / SmartBro)

  • Compose message: PASALOAD + space + 11-digit recipient number + space + amount
  • Send that to 808.

  • You cannot pasaload from Smart to Globe/TM or to other networks. It works only within Smart / TNT / SmartBro ecosystem.

If you want to send mobile credit to someone using Viber, the best option is to do it safely and instantly through doctorSIM.

How to Pasaload for Cignal

Cignal is primarily a pay TV / satellite provider, not a traditional cellular operator. However:

  • PASA (pasaload to Cignal account) is available through SMART Pasaload. You can transfer SMART load into a Cignal prepaid account (for viewing) by SMS.
  • To do it: Text PASALOAD + space + Cignal account number + space + keyword, and send to 808.
  • After confirmation, wait 5–15 minutes for the channel viewing to activate.

If you just want to top up Cignal via load (rather than transfer from a phone), doctorSIM can help.

Tips & Best Practices

  • Check your balance (plus the ₱1 fee) before sending. Many failed pasaloads are due to insufficient load.
  • Always double-check the recipient number — pasaload is final and non-reversible.
  • Reply with YES quickly after confirmation request, if required.
  • Know network restrictions — most pasaloads are limited to within the same carrier ecosystem (Smart to Smart/TNT, Cherry to Cherry, etc.).
  • Use external top-up services (like doctorSIM) when pasaload is unavailable, or when you’re abroad and can’t send SMS.

Why Use doctorSIM Instead?

doctorSIM lets you top up any mobile number in the Philippines instantly, regardless of your location. It’s perfect for cases where pasaload isn’t supported (e.g. Globe / Touch Mobile) or where SMS-based sharing is cumbersome.

The process is simple: enter the recipient number, choose the network, pay securely, and the top-up is delivered within seconds. Whenever pasaload fails, or you just want a fast, reliable top-up, doctorSIM is your fallback.

If you’re ever wondering how to pasaload in Philippines, this guide should give you clarity. Some networks support direct load-sharing (Smart, DITO, Sun, Cherry), while others (Globe, Free Bee, Viber, Touch Mobile) either no longer support it or never did. In all those cases, doctorSIM provides a reliable, cross-network top-up service you can use instead.
