Alright, let’s do the 2025 (wow, what an effing year) recap, English version. 😅
This year at doctorSIM…
🔝 We broke daily top-up records. We won’t say how many, we know the competition is listening closely, but we can tell you they were MANY. Very, very many. 🤑
🎁 Gift cards stopped being “something we also offer” and became a proper product. We can say we now offer over 1K products in countries all over the world.
📱 We launched apps on Android and iOS, for recharging and gifting with zero drama. And we’re still polishing them, because we won’t be happy until they’re the best on the market.
🌍 We launched our website in Arabic, German and Dutch, not bad at all. And with simpler processes so recharging or gifting is easier than ever.
🤝 We grew the HUMAN customer support team. Real people solving real issues. Properly, instantly and with lots of love.
🔐 We got very serious about anti-fraud. Result: we’re fully fraud-proof.
☁️ Cloudflare and AWS went down. A lot of other things went down. We went down as well, but only a little. What matters is that we got back up and, far from weakening us, the fall made us stronger.
💡 We survived the goddamn blackout. The one in Spain and Portugal. Yes, that one. We won’t say how, but here we are. Up and running.
📺 We made a ton of videos using #Sora and #Veo3 and everything else we could get our hands on. In a couple of them, people even had five fingers on each hand. If anyone needs a good laugh, ask us for the bloopers.
⭐ We dealt with reviews of questionable origin and other dramas on review platforms. We won’t name names, but you know who we’re talking about. In the middle of all that, we also learned a lot from the feedback we received. We replied to every single one of them. With respect and real solutions. And we kept our rating above 4 out of 5 because we have a customer support team worth millions.
👶 Our CTO did the most important deploy of his life. A brand new doctorSIM baby in production. Aww. Congrats, Luis. 🥹💙
