Check if it’s blacklisted due to theft or loss

First of all, find out if it’s reported or blacklisted due to loss, theft, or non-payment. If it is, you may notice some signs such as the phone not allowing calls or having no network. Sometimes the phone may work to send text messages or use the internet, but calls could be restricted.

If this is your case you should make sure whether your phone is blacklisted by contacting the original carrier or using our free check service.

Can you unlock a reported mobile phone?

Have you checked it and found out that it’s blacklisted? Don’t worry, you can still unlock it, but keep in mind that unlocking a phone and taking it out from the blacklist are two different things.

On one hand, unlocking a mobile phone allows you to use it on any network or carrier worldwide, different from the original one. On the other hand, even if the phone is unlocked, you probably won’t be able to make or receive calls until you remove it from the blacklist.
